Lansa Announces E-Biz Seminar Series

Later this month, Lansa Inc. (Oak Brook, Ill.) will begin an e-business seminar series, focused on educating the AS/400 user community on the options that are available when building Web and e-business applications.

In addition to covering the basics of using the AS/400 as a Web, intranet or extranet server, each half-day seminar also examines a series of Internet case studies, such as the Riviera Hotel's online registration site and Canada Lands' Building Information System intranet, both AS/400-based systems built with Lansa products.

"By showcasing our AS/400 Web-based successes such as IBM, Common, Shell Canada and Scholastic Books, we aim to show our attendees that companies using their AS/400 with the Internet is a reality today," says Bill Benjamin, VP of business development at Lansa.

The half-day seminars will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The seminar dates and locations are as follows:

  • Feb. 24, Washington, D.C.
  • March 23, San Francisco
  • March 30, Atlanta
  • April 8, Philadelphia
  • April 14, Portland, Ore. or Los Angeles
