Hall-Mark Achieves ISO 9001 Certification
Hall-Mark Computer Products -- a Tempe, Ariz.-based division of Avnet Computer Marketing Group (CMG) -- has announced it is an ISO 9001 registered company, according to published reports. This registration signifies that Hall-Mark is being recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for quality management and quality assurance.
A value-added distributor of open systems, software, connectivity, mass storage and peripheral products to the midrange reseller channel, Hall-Mark received the 9001 rating for a variety of business segments. These include sales, distribution, design and integration of custom configurations of enterprise-level servers, networks and desktop applications, for end users, value-added resellers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The ISO rating recognizes that Hall-Mark's standardized models establish customer-focused, quality assurance programs for meeting customer requirements. The ISO 9001 rating is the most comprehensive of the three ISO standards -- the others being 9002 (which Hall-Mark has) and 9003, according to Joe Mihaljevich, Hall-Mark VP of quality assurance.
"This new rating gives our customers confidence that every aspect of Hall-Mark's value-added resources meets the highest standards of quality assurance," says Sean Fanning, VP of marketing for North America.
