REAL to Distribute Lakeview's MIMIX
IBM Business Partner REAL Application Ltd. has entered into a distribution agreement with application and data availability solution developer Lakeview Technology. Under the terms of the agreement, REAL (Woodland Hills, Calif.) will distribute Lakeview's MIMIX high availability application suite.
According to published reports, REAL initiated a business relationship with Lakeview (Oak Brook, Ill.) in the fourth quarter of last year, upon acquisition of a majority position in Oak Brook International Limited, a MIMIX distributor and AS/400 consultant firm in the United Kingdom.
REAL will act as a business partner with Lakeview in the United States, offering the MIMIX system on a national basis to existing customers and prospects to assure automated data preservation, availability and disaster recovery.
