CorVu Integrates DB2 Into Balanced Scorecard Solution

Coinciding with the release of V4R4 last month, the AS/400 became one of the first platforms to implement IBM's Universal Database when DB2 UDB for AS/400 Version 4.4 was released. Looking to keep pace with IBM and keep its products up to speed, CorvVu Corp. (Edina, Minn.) announced the general availability of its Balanced Scorecard Solution integrated with IBM's DB2 Universal Database and DB2 OLAP Server.

"Integrating our Balanced Scorecard with IBM's data management software provides a solution that can help create more direct lines of communication for management and employees, providing a sophisticated tool that can aid them in making more informed business decisions and in better understanding performance results and strategy," says Alan Missroon, CorVu's VP of marketing.

CorVu's Balanced Scorecard is designed to provide companies the ability to measure, analyze and manage financial and operational performance at all levels. This solution also links performance results with the processes that drive those results, aligns strategy with tactical operations and leverages the value of other IT applications.

"CorVu's Balanced Scoreboard integrated with IBM's Universal Database and DB2 OLAP Server creates a packaged solution that helps companies achieve their strategic and tactical objectives by monitoring their business and performance capabilities and involving all employees in the corporate strategy," says Scott Armour, director of worldwide ISV software sales and marketing with IBM's software group.
