Kudos And Accolades For HP Imaging Products

HP likes to think of itself as the world's leading provider of digital-imaging products. The recent announcement that its printing and imaging products received 29 awards from leading publications and organizations in the past three months lends some credence to that claim.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 1175C all-in-one and the HP 2000C Professional Series color printer remained on the WINDOWS Magazine "WinList" through April. It has been on the list since August 1998 and the HP 2000C Professional Series color printer since September 1998. The WinList includes only those products considered to be at the top of their categories.

In addition to remaining on WINDOWS Magazine's Winlist, the HP 2000C Professional Series color printer also received five out of five stars in PC/Computing (March), scored 98 out of 100 in Small Business Computing & Communications (April), and received the highest overall performance rating of the 30 inkjet printers reviewed on BusinessWeek's Maven Web Site (April 20). The HP 2500C Professional Series color printer received four out of five stars in PC/Computing (March).

  • The HP DeskJet 895Cse printer was a finalist in the "Second Annual Excellence in Imaging Awards" from the Photo Marketing Association (February) and was ranked sixth on PC World's "Top Ten Color Inkjet Printer" list (February).
  • The HP OfficeJet Pro 1170Cxi all-in-one was named one of the "Best All-in-one Devices" by Wired magazine (April). The HP OfficeJet Pro 1175C has remained on the WINDOWS Magazine WinList for nine consecutive months.
  • The Idea Cafe: The Small Business Channel awarded the HP Color Copier 270 its "Top Rating" award, stating, "This is a great business tool for home or office."
  • The HP ScanJet 6200C scanner was named a finalist in the "Second Annual Excellence in Imaging Awards" from the Photo Marketing Association (February). The Toronto Sun awarded the HP ScanJet 5200C scanner the "Sun Rating" with five out of five stars (March 17).
  • The HP DesignJet 1050C/1055CM printers received Cadence Magazine's "Show Stopper" award at the National Design Engineering Show (March).
  • The HP DesignJet CP Ink System UV received the "Innovative Digital Product" award from the Digital Imaging Marketing Association at the Photo Marketing Association trade show last February.
  • CNET Computers.com named the HP PhotoSmart C30 digital camera its "Editor's Choice" (February) with a rating of 10 out of 10. Additionally, Photographic Magazine recognized the camera as one of its "Top Picks" (March), while Future Image Report placed the camera on its top 10 digital camera list (March). In addition, PC/Computing placed the HP PhotoSmart photo printer on the March and April "Editor's Picks A-list."
