Candle Blazes the Trail to MQSeries Support
With IBM's announcement of its latest MQSeries enhancements less than one day old, Candle Corp. (Santa Monica, Calif.) has already come forward to announce a strategic direction to continue its support for MQSeries, including the newly announced MQSeries Integrator 2.0.
Candle Command Center (CCC) Management Pac for MQSeries Integrator is designed to configure and monitor MQSeries Integrator from a single point across the enterprise, enhance automation, help customers monitor traffic flow, and proactively identify and solve problems affecting performance. This new version of Candle's Management Pac builds upon existing support for Integrator Version 1.0, currently available in the CCC Management Pac for MQSeries.
"Fortifying its leadership support for MQSeries through both CCC Management family products and professional services, Candle plans to fully support MQSeries Integrator and future middleware products," says David Powell, VP of application solutions for Candle Corp. "By simplifying the administration complexities inherent with enterprise-wide middleware management, the CCC Management Pac for MQSeries Integrator will enable businesses to maximize their middleware with minimal IT administration requirements to ensure the highest level of performance and availability."
In November of last year, Candle released an AS/400 version of a scaled-down toolset to be shipped with IBM’s MQSeries. The features – incorporated as Candle Command Center Admin Pac into MQSeries – included editing, performance monitoring and configuration tools expected to help keep MQSeries competitive with Microsoft’s MSMQ.
