Printers and Scanners Cited as Superior to the Competition HP LaserJet printers and HP ScanJet scanners have once again garnered top honors in the annual Channel Champions survey conducted by Computer Reseller News (CRN). For the sixth consecutive year, HP received the highest reseller satisfaction rating in both the scanner and laser-printer categories.
HP LaserJet printers took top honors in seven of the eight areas in which resellers rated the vendors. These areas include product quality and reliability, upgradability and compatibility, price/performance, product availability, technical support, return policies, co-op marketing programs and vendor response time. HP ScanJet scanners also won the Channel Champion title for the sixth consecutive year and scored particularly high, relative to the competition, in the areas of product quality and technical support.
The annual CRN Channel Champions survey measures reseller satisfaction with vendors. This year's survey rated 95 companies in 26 product categories. Respondents were asked to rate their satisfaction with specific vendors in eight separate categories using a scale of 1 (very dissatisfied) to 9 (very satisfied).
