SSA Alliance to Meet Needs of International Trade Customers
In response to the growing number of eBPCS customers engaging in international trade, Chicago-based ERP provider System Software Associates (SSA) announced it has entered into an agreement with International Software Marketing (United Kingdom). Under terms of the worldwide joint marketing, sales and license agreement, ISM will provide integrated trade logistics software to SSA clients worldwide, including eBPCS AS/400 customers.
ISM is designed to provide an international trade logistics solution for the AS/400 platform with its two products--the SPEX and WT/3 Trade Management Systems. Both are used by manufacturing companies that require documentation and compliance when selling and shipping products internationally.
This alliance gives SSA customers an option for meeting international trade requirements. It also gives SSA sales representatives an international suite of products that can be integrated on any platform using standard API messaging. Implementation services, consulting, project management and software maintenance will also be offered to SSA's clients through the agreement.
"The issue of international trade logistics is becoming a stronger priority for many SSA clients," says Robert Nussbaum, VP of product management for SSA. "We want to offer portfolio solutions to exactly meet the requirements of our customers. We consider the ISM trade management products a good solution to address country specific trading requirements for SSA clients who are trading internationally."
