Centerfield Technology Releases Database Essentials 2.0
Centerfield Technology Inc. (Rochester, Minn.) announces the immediate availability of Database Essentials 2.0--Advanced Performer Server.
A database management server, Database Essentials 2.0 speeds the deployment of J.D. Edwards's One World, SSA's BPCS, PeopleSoft, MAPICS and other SQL-based applications and also reduces the costs of these products. In addition, Database Essentials 2.0 simplifies and automates administrative tasks associated with SQL and query-based database environments.
Advanced Performance Server optimizes the database and the DB2 UDB for AS/400 query engine. It recommends and facilitates index management, database activity tracking and analysis, and gives customers insight into overall system performance from a database perspective.
