Momentum Expands Market Momentum

Momentum Utilities Pty Ltd (Chicago), an Australian-owned company that specializes in the development, supply and support of data retrieval and presentation products for the AS/400, has expanded their distribution agreement with Oakdene Group, Inc. (Chicago) and Promothean Technologies, Inc. (Atlanta).
Under terms of the agreement, Oakdene and Promothean will market and support Momentum’s latest electronic forms and report mining applications, JacanaForms and ValetMiner. Previously, Oakdene and Promothean distributed OPEN/DB-Jacana-Valet, Momentum’s AS/400 client/server reporting system.
An e-forms solution, JacanaForms transforms existing spool file output to work with e-forms and also work with OPEN/DB Jacana-Valet. ValetMiner is data access and analysis tool using for spooling report files as a source of data.
“JacanaForms and ValetMiner add an e-form and report mining dimension to the Momentum report writing system that we know our customers will be excited about,” says Jim Stickler, VP of marketing and sales for Oakdene. “These products naturally extend the OPEN/DB-Jacana-Valet product suite.”
