IBM’s Business Continuity and Recovery Services, a new approach to helping customers -- from Internet start-ups to Fortune 500 companies -- prepare for potential business disruptions and keep their operations running continuously. IBM Global Services now offers customers a range of business continuity consulting and planning solutions which address the growing importance of uninterrupted systems availability in the e-business economy.

Business Continuity and Recovery Services give customers the option to out-task their entire continuity and recovery program to IBM for everything from design to execution. With a wide variety of hardware and software platforms, IBM can help e-businesses prepare for high volumes of holiday Web traffic, for example, or re-route phone calls from a customer's call center to one of 17 IBM recovery facilities nationwide. IBM Global Services is also offering e-business continuity and security services, which provide around the clock security incident management support.
