GE Information Services Backs ENTIGO

GE Information Services, part of the General Electric Company, and ENTIGO have formed an alliance involving a major investment by GE Information Services in ENTIGO. As part of the agreement, GE Information Services joins current ENTIGO investors: Advent International, Boston Millenia Partners and Four Seasons. Financial terms are not being disclosed.

GE Information Services and ENTIGO also entered into a strategic marketing agreement, forming a joint sales team which will work together on marketing ENTIGO’s line of eCommerce software applications to GE Information Services’ international customer base.

"This relationship with GE Information Services, both in terms of the investment GE Information Services is making in our company and in terms of the joint marketing agreement, bring ENTIGO to a key strategic point in our development," says James Graham, ENTIGO’s CEO.

"By combining our buy-side solutions with ENTIGO’s sell-side applications, we are expanding our offerings to meet our customers’ electronic commerce needs throughout the entire supply chain," says Mike Pilot, Vice President of Americas sales and services for GE Information Services. "ENTIGO’s online catalog application will complement GE Information Services’ product line by integrating with our extranet offerings and enterprise application integration solutions."

ENTIGO and GE Information Services have been collaborating for more than a year, dating back to ENTIGO’s previous corporate identity as SIGNAL Internet Technologies. GE Information Services delivers a full suite of electronic commerce solutions including extranet and EAI portfolios. ENTIGO markets eCommerce software that connects customers, distributors, suppliers, prospects and employees to databases and legacy systems.
