Two New HP NetServers
At Comdex this week, HP announced the HP NetServer LC 2000 and LH 3000 systems with a 133MHz front-side bus and up to two 733MHz Intel Pentium III CPUs. RAM is expandable up to 4GB and I/O and internal storage can be expanded up to 144GB. Also included are redundant, hot-swappable components, including power supplies and fans.
The two new HP NetServer systems are slated to begin shipping in the first calendar quarter of 2000. The estimated U.S. street price for the HP NetServer LC 2000 begins at $2,500(1), while the estimated U.S. street price for the HP NetServer LH 3000 starts at $4,275.
