Changepoint Corporation, a professional services automation (PSA) software company, will offer their Internet-based PSA solution as the major component of a new rentable, bundled application being offered by application service provider (ASP) Corio Inc. Corio will introduce the ASP offering for the Professional Services industry, integrating Changepoint's Professional Services Automation software and PeopleSoft for financial management and human resources. Corio's integration of Changepoint to PeopleSoft Financial and Human Resources software enables customers to run their entire professional services business within a single, hosted environment.
Changepoint provides Web-based applications for the Professional Services Industry, offering: Customer Relationship Management, Engagement Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Time & Expense Processing and Client Billing. Changepoint will power all PSA functionality within Corio's Professional Services Solution. With the emergence of new solutions, and the growing need for business automation and knowledge sharing, Aberdeen Group expects the market for Professional Services Automation to grow from approximately $150 million in 1999 to $1.2 billion in 2003.
