AS/400 Accounting Software at PC Price Points
AccountMate Software Corp. (Novato, Calif.) has announced the release of Visual AccountMate/400 version 4.0 (VAM/400), the latest in its line of midmarket enterprise financial software for the AS/400 platform.
Developed with the help of IBM and optimized for the AS/400 9406 170, VAM/400 now includes an expanded suite of Manufacturing Modules, including Manufacturers Inventory, Lot Control, Kitting and Consolidated Ledger. In addition to the added functionality, extensive new RPG programming means VAM/400 runs native on the AS/400, computing on the server and optimizing the DB2 database and the IBM OS/400. The workstation displays a user-friendly GUI.
