CrossWorlds Names Former IBM Exec as Senior VP
CrossWorlds Software Inc., a provider of e-business infrastructure software, has named Art Matin as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In his new role, Matin will be responsible for sales, pre-sales and telebusiness on a global basis, including the company's current operations in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.
Prior to joining CrossWorlds, Mr. Matin served as Vice President, Industrial Sector for the Americas at IBM. In this role, he was responsible for the sales of the entire IBM portfolio of offerings to large industrial customers in North and South America. He also served as General Manager, Industries, IBM Asia Pacific where he led the sales teams responsible for all of IBM's business in large enterprises across the region. Mr. Matin joined IBM in 1980 as a marketing representative.
