DataMirror Expands IBM High Availability Pricing Promotion

In conjunction with IBM’s recently announced High Availability Rebate Promotion, business partner DataMirror Corp. (Toronto) is now offering a special pricing promotion on its High Availability Suite for AS/400, effective through July 31.
The rebate program announced by IBM on Feb. 1 offers customers a 10 percent rebate on hardware costs for customers who purchase a new AS/400 model 720, 730 or 740 and license DataMirror’s High Availability Suite or iCluster software, before June 23. With its announcement this week, DataMirror hopes to further entice AS/400 customers looking to implement high availability solutions with an additional offer of a special discount on a second High Availability Suite or iCluster license for a backup AS/400.
In addition, DataMirror is offering those customers who take advantage of the promotion a free, on-site high availability workshop. They may also be eligible to obtain a free, limited-time license for DataMirror Transformation Server, a data integration tool for use with multiple databases.
