Lakeview Technology Enhances IBM’s High Availability Rebate

In conjunction with IBM’s High Availability Rebate Promotion announced on February 1, 2000, Lakeview Technology (Oak Brook, Ill.) recently announced three now high availability and clustering promotions: Quick Start for MIMIX FastPath, MIMIX High Availability Rebate promotion and a MIMIX complete-the-Suite promotion.
The Quick Start for MIMIX FastPath promotion is targeted specifically for AS/400 users with custom-developed applications who want to adopt OS/400 V4R4 clustering technology.
“We see clustering as the future and will continue to work closely with IBM to be on the forefront of its development as it evolves for the AS/400,” says David Wegman, VP of marketing at Lakeview Technology. “The MIMIX FastPath offering supports this commitment by enabling rapid adoption of this key clustering technology in the marketplace by for both customers and ISVs.”
The MIMIX High Availability Rebate promotion targets new AS/400 customers. If a customer qualifies for a rebate under IBM’s High Availability program, them Lakeview will provide discounts for new purchases of MIMIX software that coincide with the purchase of new AS/400s.
Finally, the MIMIX Complete-the-Suite promotion targets current MIMIX customers who want to complete their suite of MIMIX products.
