AS/400 Solution Provider DSI Forms Marketing Alliance with SolCom Software

Data Systems International Inc. (DSI, Overland Park, Kan.) has named SolCom Inc. (Sioux Falls, S.D.) the selected AS/400 provider for users of SolCom’s software. The companies’ recently announced cooperative marketing alliance also makes SolCom the exclusive document management software partner for DSI.
SolCom develops AS/400 knowledge management products and services including document imaging, workflow and COLD. SolCom specializes in high availability/high throughput document management solutions designed for paper-intensive industries such as healthcare, finance and insurance. DSI is known for providing solutions and expertise to help companies implement an effective enterprise business strategy, especially with its award-winning dcLINK data collection software.
Under the terms of the new agreement, DSI, one of the largest IBM AS/400 solutions providers in the United States, will provide SolCom customers with tailored enterprise computer solutions configured specifically for SolCom management software. DSI was a pioneer in IBM’s Joint Marketing Program and is committed to successful partnerships with quality-minded independent software vendors such as SolCom. New and existing users of SolCom’s software will benefit from the availability of a dependable, SolCom-trained supplier of IBM AS/400 systems.
SolCom’s E-Xpress product suite includes high volume document imaging, production workflow and fully integrated E-Xpress connection to LotusNotes/Domino. SolCom’s document imaging product, MultiManager, is now packaged at introductory, departmental and enterprise level, allowing a facility to start small and simple and grow seamlessly across a multi-facility organization.
