Small and mid-size businesses will have the opportunity to discuss IT strategy with experts in the field, thanks to a new seminar series being offered by AccountMate Software Corp. in conjunction with IBM and Microsoft.

The free online “Webinars” will be held Feb.29, March 8 and March 16 at noon and 3 p.m. Eastern time. They are designed to provide executives with information on how smaller businesses can keep up with changing technology and maximize their IT investments. Titled “Technology Change and Survival in the New Millennium,” the seminars will be hosted by renowned small-business IT consultant Robert Ramers, using online education technology created by Learnability.com.

“These seminars are for both the novice and technically savvy consumer,” Ramers said. “They go into how to select an IT system which won’t be immediately obsolete, how to choose technology that will lend itself to an e-commerce infrastructure, and how to insure your system will produce bottom line benefits. The information we are providing is neither software nor hardware specific, but rather points out important concepts consumers should be aware of.”

Those interested in participating in any of the three online seminars can register at AccountMate’s Web site: www.accountmate.com/EN/enwebinar.htm (new window), or call (800) 877-8896.
