Manhattan Associates Packages Preconfigured PkMS Fulfillment Solution

Manhattan Associates Inc. (Atlanta), manufacturers of AS/400-based warehouse and transportation management systems, have unveiled e-fulfillnow, the company’s first preconfigured deployment package. The e-fulfillnow package includes a preconfigured version of the company’s PkMS warehouse and transportation management software, and a proven installation methodology to implement inventory management and order fulfillment capabilities in a short time.
“We have been the fulfillment solution for companies shipping product directly to consumers for years,” says Neil Thall, executive VP of professional services at Manhattan Associates. “With the expertise gained in providing solutions for over 35 customers in this space, … we are now able to offer a rapid deployment package that enables e-commerce fulfillment.”
E-fulfillnow offers comprehensive inventory management, including receiving, returns, stock locator, replenishment and cycle counting. Outbound fulfillment includes wave management, allocation, picking, loading, automated billing and integrated parcel shipping.
Rapid deployment and implementation of the e-fulfillnow package is handled by Manhattan Associates’ Professional Services Organization and Hardware Systems Group.
