InLine Files Complaint Against Tendril
InLine Software Corporation of Leesburg, Va. has filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. The complaint seeks injunctive relief and money damages for violation by Tendril Software Inc. of InLine’s intellectual property rights in its technology for the development, assemble and deployment of Java-based e-commerce enterprisewide applications.
The District Court action filed by InLine in Wilmington, Del. is based on violations by Tendril of InLine’s copyrights, trademarks and trade dress in its InLine Standard software product. The complaint also alleges that Tendril’s marketing, distribution and sales of its StructureBuilder program constitute unfair competition, deceptive business practices, and have caused dilution and injury to InLine’s business reputation. InLine is seeking both an injunction against further infringement and money damages.
