NeuVis Offers WAP Support

NeuVis, a leading builder of e-commerce exchanges and other e-business applications, has added Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) support to its e-business platform. The support for WAP enables NeuVis’ customers to provide their users with Web site content via wireless devices, such as cellular phones, pagers and PDAs.

IDC has forecasted that by the end of 2002, there will be more wireless subscribers capable of Internet access than wired Internet users. NeuVis meets the demands of this growing market by enabling its customers’ users to: access information, track orders, transfer funds, check account status and much more through wireless devices, such as cellular phones, pagers and personal digital applications.

"The wireless market is just at its beginning of a tremendous growth cycle as the costs of wireless devices decreases and their availability grows," says Arun Gupta, Chairman of NeuVis. "Our customers have recognized the advantage of providing content for these devices and NeuVis has responded by incorporating support for wireless technology into the NeuVis e-business platform."

NeuVis Inc., is a leading builder of B2B and enterprise-level e-business and e-commerce systems. The NeuVis e-business development platform works broadly across all technologies, providing rich vertical frameworks for buyers, sellers and marketplaces/exchanges. Visit them at www.neuvis.com.
