Look Software Has a NewLook on AS/400 Web Enablement

Melbourne-based Look Software has announced the release of NewLook, version 4.22. NewLook’s real-time architecture provides a real-time environment for instant Web-enablement, extension and integration of AS/400 applications.
One of the main features of NewLook is its ability to reinvents these existing AS/400 applications without requiring new tools or techniques. The newest release includes support for GUIs without the need for coding or scripting.
Other features in NewLook 4.22 include support for graphical enablement, application integration Web-deployment and desktop integration. Its open APIs and object model supports integration with external devices and applications including Domino and MQ Series.
“Most of our independent software vendor (ISV) partners selected NewLook for its real-time architecture, which provides a fast, elegant solution for Web-enabling extending and integrating their robust, functional AS/400 applications,” says Look Software’s Marcus Dee. “These enhancements enable our partners, including application service providers, to offer their customers sophisticated customization capabilities without the complexity associated with the alternatives.”
NewLook is available globally from NewLook and is also licensed to 100 business partners such as IBM, LANSA, and Computer Associates.
