Availant Expands IBM and EMC Education Program

Availant (Cambridge, Mass.) announced it is expanding its education and training programs for IBM and EMC, in response to increasing demand for a variety of programs.

Availant’s education offerings have focused primarily on IBM AIX, SP, HACMP, OS/390 and AS/400. Program improvements will take the form of 12 new curricula and seven new classrooms and labs, including a dedicated EMC lab, in addition to upgraded technical equipment.

In terms of the curriculum, Availant will now offer expanded AS/400 and OS/390 classes, Net.commerce, Java, VA Java, Cisco, CICS, DB2 UDB, MQ Series, ADSM, Linux, Windows NT & Windows 2000. For EMC, Availant will support their worldwide education and training program by providing course architecture, design, development, facilities and delivery to EMC's systems administrators and channel partners.

Availant provides software and services to help maintain systems and application availability. Its education programs consistently receive high student ratings, and Availant is a recipient of IBM’s Golden Eagle Award, given annually to an education provider based on student satisfaction, enrollment, revenue growth, delivery capabilities and course development services.
