IT Outsourcing Company to Offer AS/400 Timesharing

Technological Outsourcing Solutions Inc. (Cincinnati) announced this week it has extended its IT consulting and management services to help better control costs for AS/400 businesses. An independent provider of consulting, project design, product development, management staffing, computer operations, billing and system networking services, the company has now added hardware timesharing to its array of AS/400 offerings.
“We are expanding our solutions to cover all facets of business for our clients,” says Frank Kanyuck, CEO of Technological Outsourcing Solutions.
Technological Outsourcing is promoting AS/400 timesharing as a lower cost alternative to purchasing multiple AS/400s to accommodate development needs, data storage, or housing of source code. As with the company’s other products and services, customers will be able to use this service remotely. Clients will access the service through an Internet connection, which will allow quick access to the data or code.
It is expected that new AS/400 packages will be available in late 2000 or early 2001.
