Candle Introduces AS/400 Monitoring Tool for Notes/Domino

Over the last year or so, LotusNotes/Domino has become extremely popular among AS/400 users. So popular, in fact, that a recent report by IDC (Framingham, Mass.) says almost half of the 700,000 AS/400 units sold worldwide use Lotus Domino or will deploy Domino soon.
With this in mind, Candle Corp. (El Segundo, Calif.) has introduced IntelliWatch Monitor for AS/400, a performance management tool that identifies and corrects Lotus Notes server problems before the system goes down.
IntelliWatch tracks and corrects the Notes server problems through preset triggers and helps stabilize the environment by running correction routines to fix failures and avoid crashing the server.
Regardless of the problem—replication, mail management, log message backups—IntelliWatch Monitor can take immediate action once the trigger is hit. At the database level, it can alert customers to ACL changes and also track database changes.
IntelliWatch Monitor is scheduled for availability in July.
