SEDONA Corp. to Provide CRM Solution for AS/400

Citing the statistic that the AS/400 is the world's number one midrange platform for running core business applications, SEDONA Corp. (Limerick, Pa.) has announced an agreement with the IBM AS/400 Custom Technology Center in Rochester, Minn. to port Intarsia, its new Internet customer relationship management (CRM) solution for community banks and other midsized financial services organizations, to the AS/400e.

Intarsia is an Internet-based CRM solution that helps small and mid-sized financial services companies gain insight into their customers and operations, to optimize sales and marketing opportunities. It includes capabilities such as profitability management of customers, households, branches and regions; the ability to create and track targeted customer groups for promotions; and the ability to create custom reports which can be e-mailed and published to the Web for management review.

Customer shipments of Intarsia for the AS/400 e-business platform are expected to begin in the third quarter of this year.
