California Software Launches New Third Party/Business Partner Program

Looking to expand their product reach, California Software (Irvine, Calif.), an IBM business partner best known for its BABY AS/400 product line, recently announced the implementation of a third party sales/support business partner program.

To kick-start this new initiative, the company has launched the California Software Channel Team (CSCT). This new company will focus specifically on third party customers, such as software developers, IBM independent business partners, local and regional consultants, hardware resellers, and major IBM hardware distributors.

California’s BABY products include BABY/36, BABY/AS 2000 and BABY/GUI. These products support the migration of AS/400 screens and applications into PC-LAN business environments.

“Our expanded family of BABY software products will help to increase our business partners technical knowledge and add value to their existing customer base,” says Carol Conway, president of California Software. “This team structure will assist in generating new sources of income and result in some very profitable incremental revenue for our partners.”
