Provenance Systems & IntraNet Solutions Join Forces
Provenance Systems and IntraNet Solutions have formed a partnership to deliver an integrated solution offering a more robust approach to managing Web content and records. With this agreement, Provenance Systems and IntraNet Solutions provide a combined solution to government and commercial sectors that effectively manages Web content and the life cycle of each associated record.
With Provenance’s proven success in records management and IntraNet Solutions’ Web-content management capabilities, the two companies together solve the problem of preserving Web content as official records. The combined solution extends records management to include content from Web records, allowing the user to view each record -- whether Web, legacy or e-mail -- without regard to media or origin.
Provenance’s latest product, ForeMost Enterprise, offers a full three-tier, 32-bit functionality for flexible deployment and maximum user participation. Once deployed, it captures official business records from a variety of sources, such as e-mail, electronic document management systems (EDMS) and Web sites.
IntraNet Solutions launched Xpedio, the first end-to-end Web content management solution for the enterprise, in 1999. The product allows browser-based content contribution; source-content management; automatic conversion and Web publishing; as well as secure, personalized delivery. Content can be contracts, product catalogs, marketing materials, design specifications, CAD drawings, reports, or regulatory documents.
Additionally, Provenance and IntraNet Solutions are pursuing certification of ForeMost Enterprise and Xpedio to meet the Department of Defense Design Criteria Standard for Electronic Records Management Software Applications (DoD 5015.2-STD). This standard outlines mandatory ERS software requirements for all DoD agencies.
