AFP Technology Unveils New Name

AS/400 software provider AFP Technology, well known for its FormScape Enterprise Output Management solutions, has officially changed its name to FormScape, Inc.
FormScape Enterprise Output Management is an open architecture middleware solution incorporating tools that easily create and modify business communications using drag and drop techniques and conditional processing. It has been enhanced to include XML capabilities for e-commerce and B2B business communications for companies with enterprise business systems on mainframe, UNIX, Linux, AS/400 and NT platforms.
According to Joe Torano, FormScape's CEO, the change was made to highlight the company's recent focus on sophisticated e-commerce capabilities for its customers,. "The name change better reflects the business communications products we develop," he says. "The need and demand for e-business in enterprise organizations is massive. It reflects companies' increased use of the Web to market and sell products and perform customer care functions."
In addition to its name and location change, FormScape plans further expansion and new personnel hires as part of its extensive growth plans to satisfy the significant demand for e-commerce and XML.
FormScape Inc. is headquartered in the UK, with offices across Europe and US offices in North Carolina, Texas, New Jersey, Chicago, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. The company's US headquarters is located in the Research Triangle Park at 3900 Paramount Pkwy, Suite 200 South, Morrisville, NC 27560.
