EXTOL Inc. (Pottsville, Pa.), a provider of Business-to-Business data transformation products and services for e-business, has announced the EXTOL Integrator Release 5.0. The new release features XML transformation, which converts standard EDI element IDs into XML tags.
"The new release of the EXTOL Integrator contains over 40 new features designed to enhance ease of use, reduce the cost of data transformation, and bridge the gap in technology between traditional EDI operations and future e-Commerce developments. Providing our customers with powerful state-of-the-art technology has always been our focus," says Dennis Bonagura, president of EXTOL. "To deliver XML transformation, a new browser-based user interface, and Enhanced Formula Processing to make application integration a snap, all in Release 5.0, proves once again the forward-design and flexibility of our products."
Release 5.0 introduces a new user interface for EXTOL Integrator 400 and EXTOL Integrator NT, developed in Java and reflecting the general trend in the industry towards Web browser-based user interfaces.
Any previous version of EXTOL Integrator, from Release 3.3 and higher, can be upgraded to Release 5.0 in one single step, and all existing trading partner definitions, transaction maps, and application file sets remain intact.
