Rohm and Haas Licenses Aspen Technology's IPlantelligence
Aspen Technology Inc., announced it has signed a key agreement for its integrated manufacturing solution, Plantelligence, with Rohm and Haas, one of the world's top specialty chemical companies. Under terms of the agreement Rohm and Haas will deploy AspenTech's Plantelligence solution to elements of its entire acrylic value chain from monomer to polymer production.
The use of the Plantelligence suite of products is expected to improve the efficiency of Rohm and Haas' production facilities by coordinating manufacturing operations with their global supply chain. AspenTech's integrated plant solution, Plantelligence, enables process manufacturers to integrate specific business processes with manufacturing operations. Plantelligence unites AspenTech's software products through the Aspen Framework to provide a comprehensive set of business improvements to process manufacturing plants.
