Datalogics (Chicago), a provider of solutions for publishing applications, has licensed the Adobe PDF Library on multiple platforms including MVS, Windows NT and UNIX to Xenos (Toronto), a developer of software solutions that transform documents and data into e-content, for use in its document transformation solutions.

"We always strive to deliver the best solutions to our customers while incorporating leading-edge technology standards. By integrating PDF Library output routines in our products, we can enable customers to transform legacy data to powerful e-content for the Web," says Glen Manchester, president and COO, Xenos.

The Adobe PDF Library is a set of software routines that gives ISVs the flexibility of delivering PDF output that complies with the current PDF standard without spending extensive time and money developing it on their own.

"Datalogics is pleased to be able to work with a vendor that sees the benefits that PDF output brings to their software. We look forward to building a strong relationship with Xenos in bringing robust online services to the e-statementing sector," says Kevin McNeill, Datalogics' VP of sales.

The Adobe PDF Library gives Xenos the ability to build on its existing PDF, with the addition of Datalogics technology.
