California Software Corporation (Irvine, Calif.), a provider of IBM Midrange migration products and developer of the BABY product line, announced the formation of a new Business Services Division (BSD) to assist developers with all phases of BABY migration, customization, and Web-enablement.

"In our continuing effort to bring maximum value to our Business Partners, California Software Corporation has formed the Business Services Division to assist our customers with all phases of design, development and deployment of the BABY products," says Carol Conway, president of California Software. "This new Division will enable our clients to maximize the investment in their AS/400 applications."

Karen Bass and Richard Hyman will be heading BSD, Bass on customization efforts, and Hyman on the technical side of the division. Bass formerly managed the AS/400 Information Systems Department for Manpower, Inc. Hyman has held senior information technology posts with several businesses, including American Honda Motor Company and Komatsu Forklift USA, Inc.

California Software Corporation’s products, marketed under the brand name BABY, support the migration of IBM AS/400 screens and applications into PC-LAN business environments.
