Ironside Technologies, Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.), a supplier of sell-side business-to-business electronic commerce solutions for the manufacturing and distribution markets, has released Ironworks for JD Edwards v.2.0, with added B2B order-management and customer-service functionality.

"Ironworks for JD Edwards v. 2.0 provides a set of important enhancements for suppliers running JD Edwards software and interested in rolling out a powerful suite of customer-facing applications," says Ironside Vice President of Product Development, Kang Lu. "With sub-30-day time to market characteristics, Ironworks for JD Edwards is the best solution for suppliers pressured to introduce a world-class B2B solution without delay."

Ironworks for JD Edwards v. 2.0 extends beyond earlier releases, adding a number of powerful features, including a "switch accounts" function that enables field-based sales reps and internal purchasing agents to dynamically manage unique accounts across multiple customers or separate business units; extended order-status and search capabilities that provide insight into comprehensive order histories; the ability to schedule orders by line-item; and a sophisticated product configuration module. In addition, Ironworks for JD Edwards v. 2.0 provides immediate access to the Ironside Network, a single point of integration into multiple e-marketplaces.
