Dell Helps Customers Donate, Trade In or Sell Used PCs

Last week, Dell launched DellExchange, an online offering that helps consumers in the U.S. donate, trade-in or sell old PCs and related products. DellExchange (http://www.dell4me.com/dellexchange) provides consumers several options for responsibly re-using used PCs. They can donate used systems to the National Cristina Foundation, a non-profit organization that places thousands of used PCs and accessories with charities benefiting disabled and economically disadvantaged children and adults nationwide. Users may, also, trade-in a used PC for the current market value through Dell's partnership with TradeUps Inc., or auction a used PC or PC-related product online to the highest bidder through DellAuction, Dell's online auction powered by FairMarket Inc.

Participation in the program does not require a purchase and Dell does accept non-Dell equipment.
