ATA Employees Fly with Oracle
American Trans Air Inc. (ATA) has implemented Oracle's Human Resource Applications, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. Using Oracle HRMS, ATA has provided employee self-service capabilities, and has begun expediting its human resource processes over the Web.
Due to the diversity of ATA's scheduled service and charter operations, employees are often geographically dispersed and many work remotely, without offices. ATA realized it needed to eliminate paper processing and move its human resource operations to an Internet-based environment. Using Oracle HRMS, ATA now has self-service capabilities, enabling remote employees to update pertinent personal and professional information and to access valuable training and benefits information, all through a Internet browser.
