Konica Adds Create!form Technology to Printing Line
Digital imaging specialist Konica Business Technologies has reached and agreement with Create!form International, which is intended to give Konica’s PostScript printers form-serving capability.
Under terms of the deal, Konica will integrate Create!form’s document production software, Create!flash, with its printers. In doing so, Create!form’s customers will be able to design business documents on their desktops and store them on the printer’s hard drive. The solution Konica and Create!form are proposing, as well as others like it, are designed to improve the efficiency of working with business forms by enabling organizations to save them in a digital format and make changes electronically.
The combined offering is being positioned as a good fit for central reprographic departments, data centers, and mid-volume and mainframe environments. Available immediately at select Konica dealers, Create!flash enhanced Konica printers are compatible with AS/400, VMS, Unix, NT and mainframes.
