Citizens Bank Puts Trust in Landmark for MQSeries

Citizens Bank, part of Citizens Financial Group, a New England regional bank holding company headquartered in Providence, R.I., has chosen Landmark’s TMONfor MQSeries software to enhance the performance of a newly implemented MQSeries messaging middleware architecture that is the basis of future customer delivery enhancements.

Citizens Bank has $32 billion in assets, a network of more than 330 branches and 800 ATMs throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, and provides banking to 1.8 million retail and business customers.

To improve customer service and ensure all transactions are handled as efficiently as possible, Citizens selected Landmark TMON for MQSeries to monitor and tune the MQSeries environment as it is developed and migrated to use in production. Citizens’ key criteria for selecting a performance management solution included easy, fast, and effective use for both technical and non-technical staff, integration with existing software, and interaction with an enterprise management framework.

Landmark TMON for MQSeries provides the information needed to ensure that MQSeries is operating at peak performance levels, including Queue, Queue Manager and Channel performance and status. TMON for MQSeries provides the configuration, administration and operational views required to deploy and maintain the day-to-day operation of MQSeries. This solution also shortens the time and resources required in readying MQSeries applications for production by the alerting and automating of errant messages.
