Bostech Offers Up Web Services Connector

Web Services may be the big buzz, but administrators oflegacy systems may dismiss the hype as irrelevant. One company, Bostech offers a way to bridge between the buzz and the tried-and-true.

Bostech, which creates integration products for linkingdifferent platforms, now offers a Web Services connector to tie applicationsbased on the new protocols into its integration server, ChainBuilder Pro. Thecompany positions it as a way to input information from a variety of sources, including wireless devices, bar-code readers, and remote data sources, intoexisting applications.

LINC for Web Services can run natively on WebServices-based applications and send the output to ChainBuilder Pro, which sendthe data to another application. Bostech also offers LINCs for platforms likeIBM’s AS/400 and mainframes.
