Tricord Introduces Lunar Flare NAS 1200
Tricord Systems Inc. announced an upgrade to its NAS line, which improves management and reliability. The Lunar Flare NAS 1200 offers new enterprise features including a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) interface, high-speed backup capabilities, integrated client load balancing and fail-over, gigabit Ethernet back-channel support and uninterrupted power supply (UPS) support. The Lunar Flare NAS 1200 enables support for up to 160 users per appliance and includes clustering software to aggregate multiple Lunar Flare NAS appliances into a single cluster, managed as a single resource. Each 240GB Lunar Flare NAS 1200 appliance lists for $7,499, which includes a 1-year warranty and service contract.
