Latest version of network configuration control solution adds new management and automation capabilities
REDMOND, Wash. - Jan. 21, 2003 - Rendition Networks the leading provider of business uptime solutions announced today the immediate availability of TrueControl version 3.0, the leading network configuration control solution designed to scale in order to meet the needs of the most complex and demanding large enterprises. TrueControl version 3.0 adds powerful new management and automation functionality that extends its leadership in reducing mean-time-to-repair, outage prevention, and maximizing engineering team efficiency.
TrueControl version 3.0 includes the new Software Center capability that manages device operating system updates across an entire network environment. This powerful patch management functionality enables automated device audits and deployments of new operating systems. The latest version also includes the new Policy Assurance Manager functionality, which enables proactive enforcement of network configuration policies and procedures. The Policy Assurance Manager also allows on-demand configuration compliance verification and automated correction whenever non-compliant instances are detected. TrueControl version 3.0 also provides a greatly enhanced Templates capability that simplifies provisioning new devices and re-use of standardized configuration components across any number of devices.
