By providing intelligent, actionable IT performance data, Heroix eQ V3 helps IT organizations make better decisions, eliminate guesswork, and focus personnel on the IT problems that matter most to their business.

Central to the new release is the ability to present IT performance and operational information from a business perspective using the product’s Line of Business Views. Line of Business Views allow users to group relevant application, server, and infrastructure components based upon the specific business activities they support – enabling a true understanding of the performance issues and how they will affect the business. Color-coded icons show exactly which business activities are affected by performance or availability issues, making it much easier for IT staff to detect, correlate and correct performance problems before they impact the business. The new release also includes expanded reporting, graphing and monitoring capabilities, and enhanced scalability.

Scalability enhancements include background task execution and the ability to avoid repetitive management tasks by combining them. The latest release also supports security best practices by automatically logging all changes made in the Heroix eQ Web Interface, thereby enabling organizations to audit actions taken by IT personnel. Fully integrated, role-based security regulates access to Line of Business Views as well as to individual monitoring, reporting, graphing, and management tasks.

The Heroix eQ Suite operates on multiple platforms, including Unix (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, and Tru64), Linux, Windows Server (Windows NT/2000/2003), Novell Netware, and OpenVMS, and covers packaged and custom applications, database systems, messaging platforms, Web servers, operating systems, and IT infrastructure components.

Heroix eQ Management Suite V3 is available immediately. Pricing begins at $1,995 USD for the Management Console (including Line of Business Views), and $395 USD per monitored system.
