Amsterdam, Netherlands, June 29, 2004 RimApp Technologies Ltd today announced the launch of RoadBLOCK™ Firewall Appliance based on Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004. RoadBLOCK™ is an intelligent network security appliance providing advanced application-layer firewall, VPN, Web cache capabilities in a dedicated hardware security solution. A range of products will be available to suit both SMB and enterprise businesses.
ISA Server 2004, part of Windows Server System™, is the advanced stateful inspection application layer firewall, virtual private networking (VPN) and Web cache software solution that enables customers to easily maximize existing IT investments by improving network security and performance.

The RoadBLOCK™ Firewall includes enhanced security and ease of management tools, powered by GFI, a leading worldwide developer of messaging, content security, and network security software. These include: E-mail anti-virus and content checking, Web content checking, intrusion detection, anti-Trojan, anti-spam, disclaimers, mail archiving; real-time Web monitoring; Web download anti-virus; and security scanning and patch management.
In addition, RoadBLOCK’s™ unique RDA WEB-UI™ Web interface helps provide a secure, intuitive, and comprehensive one-stop management point that enables even the new-to-RoadBLOCK™ administrator to quickly learn firewall administration tasks.
