Sunopsis' Open Connectors provide Hyperion users with quicker access to enterprise data, accelerated financial and business analysis
4 January 2005 -- Sunopsis, a technology innovator in the data integration market, today announced that it has worked with Hyperion, a leader in business performance management software, to develop the Sunopsis Open Connector Suite for Hyperion's enterprise analytic platform.
The Sunopsis Open Connectors for Hyperion help organizations streamline the task of accessing and reconciling data from diverse applications and speed the delivery of data into Hyperion applications for analysis. Using the Open Connectors, organizations can easily extract data (regardless of format or complexity) from any production system and then load the data directly into Hyperion business performance management suite or any data warehouse running on any relational database management system. Furthermore, Sunopsis also provides close integration with Hyperion Intelligence to streamline the update of data warehouses and reports.

The Sunopsis Open Connector for Hyperion Application Link (HAL): leverages HAL processes to load data provided by Sunopsis into any Hyperion Application or System (Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, etc.)
The Sunopsis Open Connector for Hyperion Intelligence: exchanges metadata information with Hyperion Intelligence (formerly known as Brio) and fully integrates the extraction-transformation-load process with the reporting process.
