OnePrint G2 Provides Mainframe/Midrange Printing in a Windows Environment

Richardson, TX – March 31, 2005 – Integrated Print Solutions (IPS), a leader in mainframe and midrange host-to-enterprise printing solutions, announced the availability of OnePrint G2 for Windows, the second-generation version of its powerful server-based print management platform. OnePrint G2 for Windows permits users to distribute mainframe/midrange documents to any Windows-environment printer, via TCP/IP.

In making the announcement, IPS President and CEO Julian Leibowitz said, “OnePrint G2 for Windows makes it possible for anyone in the enterprise to print host documents to a virtually limitless number of predefined Windows-attached ASCII printers. It’s extremely simple to configure, transparent to users, and scalable to the number of installed modules.”

OnePrint G2 for Windows distributes Advanced Function Printing (AFP) documents through Intelligent Printer Data Streams (IPDS) to any Windows-environment TCP/IP LAN-attached printer, enabling host documents to be printed on laser, inkjet, or matrix printers anywhere in the enterprise. The OnePrint G2 for Windows Web Console gives administrators access to all monitoring and control functionality and online documentation, via a standard Web browser.

According to Leibowitz, “OnePrint G2 for Windows genuinely lowers the cost of ownership for IT departments by extending host printing capabilities to all areas of the enterprise. The product will pay for itself in short order.” Other options include FAX server support and PDF output (through third party software). Single-user licenses for OnePrint G2 for Windows start at $800.

OnePrint G2 for Windows is published by LogNet Information Technologies, LTD, a pioneer and leading developer in PC-to-host connectivity and Web-enabling solutions.
