Symantec AntiVirus Offers Enterprises Support for Microsoft Windows Vista
CUPERTINO, Calif., Nov. 1, 2006 -- Symantec Corp. today announced new versions of Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise Edition. Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.2 provides automatic defense and response against viruses and spyware/adware for the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
Beta versions of Symantec AntiVirus 10.2 are available on the Symantec Windows Vista Information Center (http://www.symantec.com/vista/index.jsp) to current Symantec customers testing the Microsoft Vista operating system. Since Symantec’s first beta version was posted in December 2005, there have been more than 70,000 downloads from customers wanting the real-time automated protection of Symantec AntiVirus while testing Microsoft’s new operating system. Symantec’s Vista Information Center also includes information on product compatibility with Windows Vista and information for executives considering a move to Microsoft Windows Vista.
