InQuira Integrates Search, Knowledge Management

For working in a Web 2.0 world

InQuira Inc. has launched InQuira 8, the latest version of its integrated Web customer interaction platform, and the “first phase” of what the company says is a move to turn online interactions into “packaged applications tailored for specific industries.”

“Great search without good content is worthless, and the same holds true in the reverse,” said InQuira president and CEO Mike Murphy in a press release. “Companies require an integrated offering to have any real impact on improving customer interactions. With InQuira 8, we’re delivering a fully integrated solution for KM and intelligent search that also includes advanced analytics to help monitor and fine-tune the whole experience, completing the lifecycle of customer interaction effectiveness.”

The InQuira 8 solution consists of the InQuira Information Center, a multiple-function Web application that can be used by customers and employees alike; InQuira Discussion Forums, which provides users with a collaborative, self-service experience; InQuira Information Manager, which introduces user subscriptions and personalized list capabilities; and InQuira Analytics, providing comprehensive session and activity analyses; and InQuira Intelligent Search.

InQuira 8 is available for Windows, Solaris, and Linux platforms. For more information, call (650) 246-5000 or visit http://www.inquira.com.
