CiRBA Lists Enhancements to DCI 4.2

New features include enhanced user interface, and enhanced mapping and reporting tools

CiRBA Inc. released on Monday the latest version of its Data Center Intelligence (DCI) product, which lets companies "rapidly analyze and visually map the safest path to an optimally consolidated and virtualized data center," according to CiRBA.

Version 4.2 of the CiRBA DCI features several usability and performance improvements, foremost among them the new map navigation window. This tool gives CiRBA DCI users a practical view into their server environments, particularly in larger maps, by letting them zoom in and out to focus on specific areas.

Another enhancement to this latest version of the CiRBA DCI is its "customizable statistical distribution report." Through an analysis of the data center, the CiRBA DCI generates distribution reports that conveniently pinpoint statistical outliers; version 4.2 gives users the option of removing only specific outliers.

Other new features include greater data acquisition options and an improved user interface, the company said.

"CiRBA offers the ability to rapidly and empirically derive the lowest risk paths to reducing costs and optimizing data center efficiency," said CiRBA President and CEO Gerry Smith in a released statement.
